A dream to set sail.

Land-locked in South Dakota, a 72-foot ocean-going sailboat is taking shape next to an auto body shop.

On October 20, 2007, Greg was working to flip the hull over right side up. This look gives perspective to the size of the vessel.

They say that professionals built the Titanic and that amateurs built the ark.

In between fixing cars & trucks, Greg Stockholm pursues a passion of building an aluminum sailboat from a design and plates of aluminum. You can see that a lot has taken shape and there’s a ways to go.
